About Acharya Vinoba Gosevak Sangh

Acharya Vinoba Gosevak Sangh (AVGS) is a committed non-profit organization dedicated to the protection, care, and service of cows. Founded on the pious day of 5th September 2015, our journey began with the inauguration of the first cow shed graced by esteemed dignitaries including Sajjan Mashi Ji Bothra, Rajshree Tai Parekh, Chanchala Tai Kothari, Prabha Tai Bhandari, Madhubala Tai Chordia, and Balasaheb Karnawat.

Today, the Gaushala houses over 350 cows including rescued, abandoned, and injured ones. Each cow is nurtured with love, proper food, medical care, and spiritual attention.

Our work extends beyond the Gaushala as we collaborate with local police and youth volunteers to rescue cows from illegal transport and slaughterhouses. Gau Seva is our Dharma and our passion.

What We Do

At Acharya Vinoba Gosevak Sangh, we are committed to a broad spectrum of Gau Seva activities that uphold the dignity, care, and protection of our sacred mother – the cow:
